….and while I understand part of the cost is due to the size, you can actually purchase a complete 108 bead necklace for less. Admittedly, those beads are smaller, but still Mukhi Rudraksha seeds.This is a lovely bead, and quite perfect. Comparing it to 15mm diameter gemstone beads I have here, I can see that it is slightly greater in size, and that is what makes this more expensive. Still, if you shop carefully, you can find similar beads for less.

So, I ordered this 5 Mukhi Rudrasksha Bead for myself because I found this to be quite interesting and actually never heard of it or about it before. I am all about the possibility of things like this working and I thought I would give it a shot and see for myself!The bead was delivered with a laminated Certificate of Authenticity Card, but I do wish that it had also come along with information regarding the Rudrasksha and how to use and wear it. I did visit a few different websites and watched some videos to try to learn more, but there seems to be many different ideas and various instructions to follow on what you should do to energize it before wearing it, such as soaking the bead in ghee and then in milk, or perform a ritual and chant a certain mantra.I really love the look of the bead and have been wearing it as a necklace. Since, I was confused about energizing the Rudrasksha, I decided not to do anything to it at all and just held it in my clean hands for a while and thought about my intentions for this bead. I am approaching this with an open mind and heart and will definitely update this review of mine if I notice any and all benefits that I may receive from wearing this Rudrasksha!

This comes very well padded and it's packed with an authentication card with the specs of your bead. It's bare bones: no findings included so you are able to carry this as is in your bag or pocket, or you can easily get this secured easily to an eyelet to wear on your bracelet or a necklace should you want to. I would've loved a small drawstring bag to keep this in, but that's a minor note.This has a nice feel in the hand and it's a bit on the larger side of what I typically see available. This outwardly seems pricey but I think it's the expected price when comparison shopping.The 5 Face Rudraksha Bead is a new concept to me, but I love what it represents. I do wish that they'd include some literature about what it means and the accompanying prayer as listed in the promo page to give as a ready-made gift but the information is available with a quick google search.

For a seed, this has a really awesome shape & appearance.The texture of the shape is so intricate, and the surface looks and feels like it was polished (not sure, but don't think so....).This will make a wonderful focal bead for a piece of jewelry, or gift to someone who enjoys making their own baubles.
