The CVi-118S features a high power, cast frame eighteen inch transducer with a 3" voice coil for extended use during high SPL applications. Steel handles and pole mount cup are also featured for use as a base for pole mounted full range systems.

Very powerful, accurate bass and do not require a ton of power to make a ton of sound. I had these along with a pair of Cvi152 speakers DJing my friend's backyard wedding. I was able to drive everything from an old Carvin dcm 600 amplifier with no issue and it was plenty loud.

Writing a one star review harms the product. If its your mistake do not harm the manufacturer!!Cerwin Vega.I have replaced CV drivers with cheapMcM drivers. I noticed an improvement. I review the drivers 5 stars. I'd be happy to review your current products and give an honest assessment. If you think you can 'beat' McM please send me a sample!

This completes my set up. I would recommend this for those who's in a budget and longing for a subwoofer w/c has LOUD and PUNCHY bass that is well-built. The dual speakon and 1/4" jack is a plus and the steel grill is so strong that cannot easily bent.Thanks Cerwin Vega!
