1. Please do not to use a Micro SD Card with card adapter. SD Card and batteries are not included in the package.
2. CEYOMUR trail camera CY50 supports SD Card up to 32GB, the speed requirement of SD Card is not slower than Class 6.
3. Please format the SD card to FAT32 before using the camera. SD card should be inserted on OFF mode.
4. . The battery life is related to the battery quality and the camera settings(PIR interval and PIR sensitivity). We usually suggest using the camera's factory settings to maintain longer battery life.

-User-friendly Camera Body Design&Convenient Operation
The switch represents 3 modes:
A. OFF - The trail camera is completely off. You can install the batteries and SD card.
B. TEST - For camera settings change and preview the recorded video. You can record video manually, but the camera will not take photos or record videos automatically under this mode.
C. ON - The screen display will turn off in 5s, and button operation will be disabled. The camera enters the working mode.
This trail camera body is ergonomically designed. The same side of the screen and lens let you adjust the camera position much easier and more accurately. Compared with the bottom micro SD card slot, the side standard SD card slot reduces the possibility to drop the card.
A high-quality waterproof rubber ring is built into the edge of the trail camera and the battery case to effectively prevent water from entering the device.
This game camera is designed with a lock hole, which lets you use a padlock to lock the camera case and protect data security.

1. This trail camera works well during the day, but it doesn't shoot anything at night?
We suggest changing to new high-quality batteries. When the battery is low, the battery voltage output is not enough for night shooting. The better quality batteries are, the more stable the voltage of the battery at night.
2. When I walk in front of the camera, the red light flashes, but the camera doesn't record anything?
For automatic detection and recording, you should switch to ON mode. If the red light flashes when detecting moving, it means that your trail camera is still in TEST mode.
3. Only half of the battery compartment pops out then it gets stuck？
When it gets stuck, just pull out harder. The ”stuck” design is to prevent the battery compartment from falling directly to the ground when you try to change the battery on a tree.

I bought this for security while camping. Also to capture wildlife at remote camp sites on public land. Rain didn't damage the camera so it is pretty watertight.Handy to have if you leave your rig and are gone for several hours. This camera is nearly invisible if you mount it in a good spot and use thin paracord to secure the camera to a tree. It's usually the included strap that gives away the camera's location, not the camera.I used this camera for about 6 camping trips and then gave up on it. I got tired of checking it every day to make sure the batteries were good and the SD card wasn't full. It was also time consuming to go through all the pictures every day. Most of them were worthless because tree branches and even bugs would start the camera. Of course I needed to remember to take the camera with me before leaving camp.The camera worked well during the night and day. No complaints. Good for security and monitoring what animals are roaming your property or camp especially at night while you sleep. However it won't work if the batteries are dead or the SD card is filled.It got old after a few weeks of checking the batteries and taking the SD card out every day to watch pictures and videos on my laptop that were mostly worthless. Batteries don't last long on days when the camera takes a lot of pictures.Yes I know you don't need to take the SD card out to watch pictures and sometimes I did that, but they're easier to see on a big screen. Also I would save some pictures on my laptop before putting the card back into the camera and formatting it.For me, even one trail cam required more time to baby sit than the pictures were worth. However there are situations and applications where it's very nice to have. I take it camping with me all the time, even though I haven't been using it. 5 stars because it is a good low priced camera.

I am sure other trail cameras can take sharper pictures and illuminate night pictures better, but this one for under $40 does the job and I liked it so much I bought a second. My first one is two years old and working fine. The batteries (takes 8 AA cells) last a long time and picture quality is plenty good for me. I just want to know what creatures are wandering through my yard and this does a great job. I tried the video capture mode and while it works, the videos are somewhat low resolution. So you might want a more expensive camera if video is your thing. But for stills, this camera works fine.

Set up was easy and had the camera out for 1 week. Followed the instructions, turned off the camera before taking out the memory card. Had 517 photos which were good quality. Put the card back in and turned the camera on. Red LED light came on and the digital screen turned white and stayed illuminated for 5 minutes along with the red LED. I did what every IT person would suggest and turned it off and back on again and this time I didn't get any lights on or screen or anything. Camera is completely dead. I even checked the batteries multiple times. Just save your money and buy a more expensive camera. I have decided to update my review and changed it to 4 stars. About a week after posting my review CEYOMUR contacted me regarding some QC issues with this model camera. Customer service was very helpful and gave me an option for a full refund or replacement cameras/upgrade. I decided to give the camera 1 more shot as the other camera I have works great. They express shipped a camera and have followed up with me along the way to make sure I received it. Claire was great to email with and the camera seems to be working fine. Let's hope it keeps working.

Montata per verificare che tipo di animali frequentano un terreno di campagna, al momento ha solo registrato i movimenti dei proprietari, ma comunque funziona. E' possibile scegliere la risoluzione di registrazione tra 1080 e 720, io ho scelto 720. I file video sono in formato AVI MJPEG (circa 13Mbps in 1280x720 ), la qualità non è eccelsa, ma sufficiente per sorveglianza. Sicuramente consente distinguere tra vari animali e oggetti. Uso batterie NiMh ricaricabili ma, considerato che il loro voltaggio è 1.2V contro 1.5V delle normali batterie, devo ricaricarle ogni giorno, anche se forse potrebbero durare anche due o tre giorni, ma preferisco non rischiare. Probabilmente un modello con batterie ricaricabili al litio sarebbe meglio.

I have updated my rating to reflect their excellent customer service. They went above and beyond to get me to be a satisfied customer.This is a great little camera. It was easy to set up and start getting pictures right away. The camera has many settings - Picture(s), Video or Picture(s) and Video. You can change many settings like resolution. There is even a recording only during a certain time period.Issues I have are the battery life - there are 8 AA batteries. They don't last if you use this camera at night. With 8 batteries I would have expected them to last longer. I had the camera set to low res and only one pic (you can do 3 and video) The camera works fine during the day when it sunny but if the batteries are not new you will not get pictures at night.I tried to return but I missed the return window, I reached out to customer service. it was instructed I purchase high quality rechargeable batteries or to plug in an external power supply (6V/1.5A; DC-IN plug size: 3.5 mm*1.35 mm/1.3 mm.) I chose to plug into a power supply, I started getting pictures again.If you need a camera to work at night, this is not the camera for you.

Modifico mi reseña original después de comprobar algo más la cámara.La cámara es fácil de usar y de imágenes de muy buena calidad.Los led durante el día no se aprecian, pero durante la noche se iluminan y delata su posición. Esto puede ser un problema para ser sustraída.En cuanto a los animales, parecen no detectarlos o no hacerle caso si los ven.Teniendo en cuenta dicho lo anterior, volvería a comprar de nuevo.
