I used the wire to hang a tapestry across my open closet that houses my clothes. The apartment manager wanted $300 to install French doors to close off the closet. I saw this on Amazon and thought why not just use a wire? I had thought about using a long pole, but I'd have to use steel or something very strong to close off an 18' opening. Then I saw this and thought wire with tighteners would be much better and it sure was. It saved me quite a bit of money and since you can tighten both ends, there's very little sag depending on what you use it for.

Except they sent me the wrong wrench that didn't fit anything for installation.Also the plastic wrapped cord seems thin

Over the years I’ve purchased and replaced cafe lights in various locations around my house, attaching them to/from house/trees. Unfortunately the trees sway in the wind, which can cause longer stands to come unplugged or break, where I’ve tried to keep things taunt. Frustrated because I was purchasing another replacement set of lights, I thought I would try this.I was surprised at the ease of use, the quality of the cable, the performance & how it gives with the movement of the trees, versatility (found several more applications including tent shades), coating is high quality & has not worn, while being exposed to hot Texas sun and the value. I will not have to purchase new cafe lights after high winds and heavy storms roll through our neighborhood.Wish I purchased sooner!!!

I have to say I was kind of disappointed in this light hanging kit. It was described as being multi useful for hanging your laundry but that was not the case. The wire was extremely long, and the instructions were very unclear. I don't really have a use for this anymore so I'm not sure what to do with it.

Everything I needed yo hang my shade cloths. The wire has its limits, but as long as it is installed smartly and is not rubbing on any hard edges it works well. I have some looped aroun 4x4 lumber and the wire snaps after a while
