Just as described, I work construction. And used to get pencils from home depot. .45 cents a pencil and we all know how those are.. these end up about.25 a pencil for what I paid and are way better than Home depot. good lead and solid pencil ! Would buy again. Thanks jamie

I’m carpenter/layout man, I go through pencils. The lead Doesn’t break and it’s really good last longer.

Nice pencils look and feel like they should standard size.. Tripoy wood..poplar? Or some kind of kighter dense wood... Shaves nice over all well worth the price. Got to share with the boys at work no complaints.

Bought these bc you can’t beat the price for a 72 count. Solid carpenters pencil. Use daily on drywall and plywood with no complaints. Sharpen well with knife. Strong lead.

Like the yellow color, much easier to find when I set down. They sharpen up just fine. Quite happy with these. I can leave them everywhere and always have one handy. But for one person, 72 is probably a lifetime supply (even accounting for friends "borrowing" a few).

Good pencil. Value for money for sure. Bought sharpener as well. Think is great. Pencil is so sharp and still sturdy enough. Leaves good mark

Poor marking on wet lumber. Requires a heavy hand to make a mark and that promotes broken lead and then time taken to resharpen. On the up side; there are a lot of pencils for a small price.

These pencils mark well. Dont get them wet, they'll split.

They work good and unlike most carpenter pencils if you drop them on the cement they don’t break all the lead inside of them

Great carpenters pencils. Bright yellow and easy to find. And if you don't have a Big Horn 19853 Carpenter's Pencil Sharpener get one and you will be a happy carpenter!
