The versatile BT300 3-Bike Rack attaches to most vehicles equipped with an external, body mount 5-lug spare tire. BT300 incorporates a heavy-duty mounting plate that fits between existing vehicle spare tire mount and spare tire/wheel - no drilling or special tools required - and allows the user to transport up to three bikes (bike size, frame design, and other factors affect fitment). Bikes are securely gripped in a non-scratch padded channel and held tightly in place by a metal top plate that includes a theft preventative lock (one (1) key included). Rack features heavy-duty welded steel construction with corrosion resistant black powder coat finish for superb strength and long-term durability. Engineered and manufactured right here in America to the highest quality standards for enhanced performance and durability. NOTE: BT300 is not compatible with 2006 and newer Toyota RAV4 vehicles, vehicles with spare tire mounted back up cameras, or vehicles with oversize, non-stock spare tires (extension available separately to provide additional tire clearance).

Product seems heavy duty, but I had to grind the aluminum parts to fit into the brackets.

I bought these Surco channel adapters and mounted them to my DeeZee Hex rails on my Santa Cruz. They add some utility and a distinctive look. I did have to use my own T-nuts as the ones that came with didn't fit the tracks on the Hex rails.After a couple weeks of install I'm starting to get some rust in the racks. Kind of wishing I'd gone a different option, if it gets any worse I'll have to replace them and it won't be with Surco brand.

Rusted the first time it rained. Actually quite impressive, I don’t think I’ve ever purchased an outdoor item that even comes close. So you want to overpay for cheap crap, these adapters are for you.

Perfect fit for 2003 Trailblazer EXT...........Replaced hardware with SS. No manufacturing issues..... Happy with purchase. These do sit high when paired with the Surco Safari crossbars..... but I wanted a little extra height for my kayak carrier.

This kit works.Strong brackets and solid welds.I purchased it for install on my factory rails with a surco rack. My factory rails are not exactly flat on the top, nor are they exactly parallel with the bar on the surco rack. This channel adapter must be a "universal" mount as it does not fit the exact angle of my rails.1. Used fender washers to space the mounting brackets for the angle of my roof rails2. Had to use longer bolts - as the supplied ones are not long enough for my factory rails.I had some stainless 10mm hex 6x16 bolts that fit perfectly. Otherwise I would have had to go to my hardware store for bolts.Picture shows the fender washers used to force the adapter past the flat angle to fit with my rails.I drive a 2000 Nissan pathfinder - factory rails. same fit 1996 - 2004 make/model
