Normally im a 5.5-6 (36eu) in womens bought these in a 4 and 5 bc I saw reviews saying the 5 was like a womens 7 and I can confirm they run a little large compared to the size chart (or i have short toes idk) I ended up keeping the 4(35eu) made just as well as my old adult ones for a fraction of the price!!

My 8 year old thought they were too stiff. So we returned them. But if you need sturdy sandals - they are great quality and the straps are durable. True to size.

I wear a size 7w in chacos and wanted to try on the kids size 5 to see if they were the same fit. (Heard they were) and they are! I’m so happy I decided to go for it. Half the price and I got a fun color I’ve been searching for. The base is thinner/lighter than the women’s but the straps were easier to adjust. They are super comfortable like my 7w chacos. I’m very pleased. Yussss!

People saying the straps are uneven have never had chacos and didn't read the instructions in the box. You can adjust all the straps by pulling on them. They're all connected, allowing you to make them shorter or longer easily. These are super comfy and I love the color of the purple (it is a little darker/ more vibrant in person)

I truly appreciate the strap that goes across my foot. It provides more support than a normal flip flops. Very comfortable; I wear them year round.

I have been a Chacos fan for 8 years - I bought my first pair as a camp counselor, and they went through creeks, climbed on mountains, and visited many places with me. I wore them just about every single day. Finally, after many years of hard use, my front straps broke. I was slightly devastated, because they were by far my favorite shoes, but I understood that it was probably time to move on.So, I bought another pair of Big Kid size 6 Chacos on amazon... and I am in love all over again!By the way, I usually wear a 7 1/2 or an 8 so I went with the 6 (which is a women’s 8) and they fit like a gem.I have wide feet so the half size up is a smart move!I might even like my new ones better than my old ones (don’t tell anyone). I’m not sure if it’s the style or the sheer newness or them, but I feel like the sole is sturdier and the support is better.I was slightly worried my old faithfuls would simply be irreplaceable (for sentimental and broken-in reasons) but my new glories are already sneaking into a warm, fuzzy place in my heart. My only note to make is that the “gray” pair is more of a blue-ish gray. They’re still a lovely color, I like it even better than pictured, but the color does variate from the picture (at least to my eyes)!

Estuve buscando varias sandalias para caminar, creo que encontré las perfectas. No las he probado aún pero se ven muy cómodas. Me quedaron muy bien de lo largo y ancho y se ajustan perfectamente a mi pie.

Love these! In the summer I live in my Chaco flip flops, women's size 8. I at one point had a pair of the Chaco sandals with the toe strap, but never wore them because they bothered me (toe strap and generally couldn't get the straps adjusted right) and were really heavy -- much heavier than the flip flops. However, sometimes you want a sandal instead of a flip and I thought I might give it another try with Chacos without the toe strap. I somehow wandered into these and discovered that Women's Size 8 = Big Kid Size 6 in this brand. How cool is that! It's about 50% off cool, is what it is. I was worried about the fit because I have a high arch, but they hit me exactly right in the arch and feel amazing -- I didn't want to take these babies off. I got the color called "faded pink" and it's more purple than pink and doesn't look like only something a 4-year-old would love, it looks totally reasonable for an adult. These are not nearly as heavy as my other other Chaco sandals were, much closer to the flips (but more secure, of course. The straps are secure and comfortable -- your feet are not going to slide forward out of these, which was a concern of mine.Just FYI, I wear a women's 7 1/2 usually, sometimes an 8, in other shoes. My feet measure 24.5 cm. 95% of the time I fit a Euro 38.

I bought these Chacos in size 4 Big Kid from Amazon as they were covered by Prime Shipping, and unfortunately they were too small for my 7W feet. No problem, I returned them for free (I love Prime!). I found the same sandals in the right size on another website for a much better price and bought them there, so here's the review.First of all, if you are a woman and wear size 7, you can totally go for a size 5 Big Kid, and, if you like having a little room, maybe a size 6 Big Kid should fit well, too. I like Chacos beacause you can adjust them as you like, even if your feet are not exactly identical. It might take a little bit of time to find the right adjustment (for those who are not familiar with these sandals, you can find Yourtube tutorials on how to adjust them effectively, and there are instructions pictured inside the box, too). The sole is not stiff, so you can wear them right out of the box without any break-in needed. In my case, I had to "educate" my feet to appreaciate the phenomenal arch support - being used to flat sneakers made my feet react with a little pain at first, but I'm now wearing them every day with no problem. As for the style, I would not wear them at a fancy dinner, but they look very nice with tight jeans - in other words, they don't necessarily giving the impression you're about to go for a hike. Finally, these look very sturdy, so unless you want to buy more than one pair, pick the color wisely, as these definitely look like they'll last a looooong time :)
