NOTE: Properly prep your piece prior to applying your paint. If your piece has a gloss coating we would recommend that you would lightly sand and wash with warm water & dawn soap/degreaser, followed with a dry rag to absorb the excess water.

- Once paint is applied if second coat is needed; we recommend to lightly sand any imperfections before applying second coat (this will give a smoother surface).
Painted with Chalk Mountain #31 sealed with Chalk Mountain Clear Wax.
- Distressing your piece; lightly sand the desired area, we recommend for best results use Chalk Mountains Angled Sanding Sponges which may be used in two different ways (wet or dry sanding)

Sense I first ordered and used this paint, it has went straight to the top of my list of favorite paints to use for almost anything....on furniture it is simply gorgeous as for colors you can’t beat the selection. the company has always sent it within decent timing ( always get it a day earlier then the time they tell you). I have never had a issue with the paint to have to complain but the personal note they send is very reassuring if I did they would fix the issue.

The 16 oz jar was enough to do 2 coats on a dresser that was 62" x 30". I didn't paint the drawers because I stained them. Only set back was when I sanded the top. It looked like little white chalk spots. I just did another coat and it was fine. It's very easy to sand to get a smooth look and to distress it. I'll buy more in the future. Also I was able to spray on a polyurethane coating to protect the paint, cause it seems to need it.
