I should have paid closer attention to the size of this chamois cloth as it does an adequate job of drying car windows but you have to constantly rinse it out due to its size. It does absorb water fairly effectively without leaving any lint. I just wish it was a bit bigger like 16”x16” rather than 12x12.

Chamois’s seem to have fallen out of favor with the car detailing world and I’m not sure why. Microfiber seems to be the new thing and I do use them. I have a couple of old chamois but seldom use them anymore.This is not your typical chamois, they usually are full or partial hides. They have odd shapes and various thicknesses. This seems to have been cut out of the prime section of the hide. It measures 11” x 11” with large radius’s on the corners. It is way too small to dry your car. You could use it for that I suppose but you would constantly be wringing it out.There are use/care instructions, “Explain”, in pretty poor Chinglish but anyone who has used a chamois before knows the ins and outs of using them.This is a very high quality hide, tanned well. I have no intention of using it wet. I used it to clean the finger prints off of my tablet and phone and it works great for that! This is a nice small package to keep in my man-bag to clean the screen of my various devices. I would highly recommend it for such use but for drying your vehicle, nope.
