This speed is NOT a precise value, this motor is not suitable for precision instruments such as clocks.

Plugged into a 12Vdc 1Amp power supply. Nothing happened. Motor got a little warm and they were pulling 4 watts as advertised but simply did not run. Not too impressed. I'm pretty sure one was a return as it came in a ziplock bag and just thrown in a box. The other came in an actual Chancs Motor bag with connectorsOne took 3 weeks and the other took 3 days. Go figure.Amazon is replacing the both, so that's something.[UPDATE:] Rec'd new motor and it came with a DC to AC adapter cable and instructions. New motor goes CW and old motor goes CCW. So now I have one working correctly. Updated to 4 stars.

Works as expected and pulls ~210mA @ 12V. A little bit loud but I can insulate the noise in my project. As others have said, this is actually an AC motor, but they provide the DC->AC converter circuit so make sure to connect that before supplying 12V DC source.

These motors show to be DC 50/60Hz.They are AC motors not DC. DC power is 0 HZ. These will not work with DC power.

This is a 12V AC motor. It comes with an adapter to allow use of a DC adapter, but it did not work. I powered it with 12V AC directly and it worked.

Ich habe hier einen CW/CCW Motor bestellt, der eine Spindel antreiben soll und bei Blockierung wieder in die andere Richtung dreht.Das tut er sehr gut und macht dabei keine Geräusche. Mein zuvor eingesetzter Motor hat bei Blockade richtig laut geklappert und dann erst umgeschaltet.Der Versand aus China hat ca. 1 Woche gedauert.

The motor works great. With 12v it pulls 0.3A. Quite operation. Don't forget to install the jumper leads for proper operation.
