Was in search of another kamui gator tool but had no luck finding one. Got this as a substitute and am very pleased with it. Functional wise there's no difference between this and it's more expensive competitor. Simple to use and very durable.

The tip scuffer works as it should but the tip shaper came unglued from it using it just once. Needs to be glued in better.

I purchased this suffer to replace a Kamui Gator Grip that I lost and is no longer available. It does exactly the same job on a cue tip, prepares the surface for chalk without removing much material or damaging laminations. The tip shape on the back is a nice touch, although adding a second dime-sized shape would be great. The only 2 cons I have are the weight (it's quite heavy for its size) and the lack of a cover to protect the scuffing plate. All-in-all I'm quite pleased with the purchase.
