I got this shade for a huge window. The window doesn't open, its just decorative to let A LOT of light in a hallway in a bedroom. Not anything you'd put fancy window treatments on, but black out was desperately needed. This shade was easy to install, blocks out all light completely and is so easy to raise when you want light and lower at night. Im really pleased. I don't remember if there were design options etc., I just ordered something basic (thinking I probably wouldn't like it). If I'd known how nice it was going to be, I would have paid more attention, but still it's a lovely beige/off white and really does what its says and blocks out all light. One of the better purchases I've made here. Don't even hesitate, get this one,.

I have 3 connecting windows in my living room. We got this to cover all 3 instead of buying 3 different blinds. They are so easy to push up or pull down and there is no string to worry about with kids or pets. They may tear easily if a dog was to scratch them but when we leave and the dogs are inside we push them up halfway so they can not get their claws in them

This is a nice shade. It’s quite heavy but does work on blacking out light. I can’t get it to fit tight all the way to the top rail and wondered if there is a way to get it up all the way.Update: After pulling the shade all the way down for a while, I was able to get it to go all the way back up. See photo.

Easy to understand measuring instructions before you place your order. Fit and finish is very good and works great. I will buy this type again for my other windows.

We have a very wide window - 78.5 inches. We have never been able to find anything except vertical blind previously to place over this window. It is so nice to have a horizontal blind that can be moved up and down with a finger - no cords! Easy to install.
