If you do any barbed wire fencing these are the best fence pliers I have found. Last pair lasted me 20 years until someone needed them more than I did and took them out of my saddlebag.

These pliers are both very comfortable and durable. I’ve tried 7-8 different brands and these have easily been my favorite to use. The design isn’t oversized or bulky.

They will last you your whole life time, dip them in used motor oil after you are done and hang them to drip so they will never rust

Time will tell if I will need to remove the blue handles when they eventually get scuffed and cut with wire twisting, but for now I just really like the plastic dipped handles by Channellock lolAll in all, great tool straight out of the blister packaging. Takes some breaking in to really remove the industrial-grade chunky grease, but some 3in1 oil with repetition and it's amazing to work with.All in all I am so excited to use this come around the time we install fences for gardens. Pulling and cutting wire with one tool already helps me so much.

Very well made. Multi-function. Sturdy. If you put up / maintain / take down chicken wire or goat fencing, this is the tool to have.

I bought this pair of pliars as a gift for a friend who helped me run a stretch of fence this summer. His Chinese pliars were chipped on the hammer face and loose in the hinge. I have a pair of old Channellock pliars I've had for decades and are still tight, with no chips on the hammer face. If you're a farmer/rancher and has more cattle than you do hats, these pliars are well worth the money.
