The gadget itself is fine - sturdy and designed just as described. But lip balm is going to melt in a hot car, and liquid lip balm will probably drip. So if you have a newish lip balm that goes above the edge of the lip balm container this won’t work for you. Maybe it works on mostly used lip balms? This is probably not the solution you’re looking for.

Worth the purchase. Keeps the chapstick from falling over or getting lost in the car. Won’t stop it from melting but it melts upright and firms back up quickly with the ac going.

It’s called No Drippy…but drip is what happened. Tried a different brand of chapstick just to make sure it wasn’t that, but both did the same. It was nice to have easy access to my chapstick, though. Cool idea, but needs improvement with some sort insulation

I live in Arizona where it gets over 130° outside, and even hotter inside my car. I was really looking for something that kept my chapsticking held up in the right position so when it melted and re-hardened at least it stayed flat. This appeared to be very promising but unfortunately it falls short substantially. Due to the type of material that it's made out of the plastic clip that goes into the vent has warped and bent from the exposure from the heat. My chapsticks not only melted they have dripped out the bottom of the Chapstick tubes and all over the inside of the holder and as the picture shows dripping down my dashboard. The idea of a ChapStick holder that does not drip and re-harden from the air conditioning is a nice concept. But it's just that, a concept. Because the Chapstick drips everywhere and all over my dash.UPDATE: It looks like they improved the clip to a metal one to prevent the warping I experienced. But the melting all over the place and dripping down my dash is still an issue. Also over time the holder has warped also from yhe way they manufacture it and then you have to fold it closed. I brought it inside and super glued it closed. It seams to be holding up better. But the Chapstick still melts all over the place.

If your like me and have a car, purse, nightstand, and pocket chapstick than this is for you! I gave my kiddos teachers one at the end of the year! We live in west Texas and it’s super hot! Love this thing!

Like with anything. Florida. Chapstick will be soft in extreme heat the holder will keep it where you need it. Buffalo high heat will also soften it. But it will still be there when you need it!

So the product itself is awesome and clips on and doesn’t fall off or slip however my chapstick apparently doesn’t seal because it leaked out the bottoms of the chapstick container but the no drippy did keep it from dripping all over my car so it works really well. I’ll have to try it with a different chapstick brand.

I can't give it five stars because there is an issue. This thing although I believe is overpriced does exactly what it's supposed to do. There is one small problem, and it's not the fault of the product. It does stay in the vent very well. Even though it is very cheaply made. But when the sun is beating down on the car the lip balm inside becomes liquid and leaks out of the bottom of the container, as the air conditioning vent cools it the lip balm package and the no drippy holder fuse themselves together. I have tried several different brands of lip balm and they all do the same thing. This is a very good product and it does work as advertised.
