This number plate bag is built VERY well. It has many loops, anchor points, and 2 straps to secure to fork tubes so was simple to make it fit my bike and doesn't rattle around. As far as weight carrying ability, I carry 2 bottles water, 2 cans of chew, phone, spark plug, wrench, pocket screwdriver, and a rag. After one riding season it still is 100% functional without any issues. Save your back and let your bike carry it for you!

I bought this bag years ago and had it mounted on my XR400. I transferred the bag to my DRZ400S later and have used it constantly for many years. It mounts easily, and straps securely to the fork tubes - I have never worried about it falling off (and I've had my bike on its side many times in the dirt with no issues).My old bag is made of relatively thin nylon and may not seem rugged when compared against other company's products but I've had zero problems with the bag in the many years I have owned it.I carry light items in this bag and use another solution for heavier items like tools.

Ties are too short ... used plastic zip ties. Hung too low (over headlight) ... sewed a lower pocket break-point.
