I have noticed that a white camera lens is very visible from a long distance. I installed this lens wrap to reduce how visible my equipment is to the birds that I am trying to photograph.The material is a thin neoprene foam rubber. It is stretchy and I found it easy to install on my Sony 200-600 lens with some minor fussing around to get the holes to properly line up with the control buttons. But once installed, it is easy to access all of the controls. There are two pieces that are intended to go over the zoom and focus rings which I did not use. That makes it easier to feel the rings since the texture is different. The wrap also provides protection from minor bumps that might scratch the finish on the barrel of the lens.
