This is a great unit. We use it for haze in a church environment. with DMX you can control both the amount of haze and the speed of the fan. I am amazed at how little fluid this uses. We don't use it a lot, but even running it for a few minutes hazes our space nicely (about 35 feet wide, 20 feet tall, 15 feet deep).

Tried it out in a gym for a local band performance. It wasn't bad, but I think it comes out a bit too strong and doesn't disperse very well (although there was an AC unit going on and off so that also affected the performance). Still not bad for the price I paid.

For the money, the Chauvet hazer works awesome. I first used it on a music video set next to a Base Hazer and it had about half the output. Ok that might seem like a negative but consider the other hazer costs around $2500 and up. You could by 2 of the Chauvet hazers and compete with a unit that costs way more!

Works really good for a $299 haze machine! DMX is a little iffy but other than that no troubles!

Tested the hurricane in my den. Within minutes the whole front of my house was full of haze. Think it's going to work perfectly in our sanctuary for vacation bible school.

You are basically paying the suggested cost of a 2d hazer with 2 FREE gallons of chauvet fluid!! which is usually around 25 to 35 bucks a gallon. Also it was unfortunate but I got sent a bad unit and had to call vinovations and they were very nice. So I sent it back and got a new one that works flawlessly :). So yea 5 star on product and seller

Great hazing machine.Have used it for two events so far, and it works great. The only downside is that it's not set up for daisy chaining the AC power I have to use a Y-cable instead. All of my other lighting fixtures have male and female power connectors to allow chaining them.Maybe because of the heating element (and therefore the amperage draw), the idea is to have it on its own power cable(?); I just make sure I'm using 14GA power cables all the way (and am only running a 4 fixtures, including the hazer).
