These are not very thick nor are they designed for long term heavy use. We used them to cover and protect our furniture before wrapping over them with plastic cling wrap. Worked perfectly. Our furniture survived 2 moves and a long stay in storage thanks in part to these blankets. They are cheap and good for one time heavy use or longer with gentle use. If you know what your getting and not expecting thick, long lasting high quality blankets these are perfect. If you need more you'll need to spend more, but won't be disappointed. I recommend these blankets for what I stated for above.

These are cheap, not particularly thick, and come apart fairly easily. We used tape to wrap some blankets around some pieces of furniture when we moved, and I noticed that removing the tape from the blankets actually tore the fabric. All that said, they definitely helped with our move and were not expensive.

There isn't much to say other than these do the trick for a move. I bought these to pre-wrap furniture before the movers came. These were affordable, didn't have any strong smell, and held up. They were especially handy after the move to protect our hardwood floors while unpacking, repositioning furniture, and while painting.

Awesome! I purchased these for a cross country move where my belongings were going to be packed into a container and shipped on the back of a truck for 1700 miles. If anyone has used one of these services, you know that it's very easy to get your things there in one piece, but you need to pack them VERY well. I used a layer of these blankets on the bottom of the container to provide a little padding and still had more than enough to sufficiently wrap up what ended up being about a 1 bedroom apartment's worth of stuff. These are not the thickest blankets on the market, but they are very large and can be easily folded in half to double them up. Everything I wrapped up came out without a single scratch. A few of the blankets showed a little wear and a tear or two after everything was done, but all of them are still reusable for several more moves. In fact, prior to my using them, I let a friend borrow them for their move, so they've done two moves so far and all but maybe one or two are still in basically new condition. After your move, either store them for the next time, or find creative uses for them such as black out window shades for extra rooms.

We purchased these blankets to protect our furniture for a cross country move and they're great moving blankets. We had previously acquired a smaller and cheaper product and we quickly realized how much they sucked. They were small, thin and pretty much useless. I specifically bought this product because of the thickness, the larger size and the bulk pricing. I was not disappointed. They were exactly what we were looking for and I'd buy them again if we needed more. If you're looking for a great moving blanket that won't make you feel like you got ripped off I'd recommend this product. Don't go with the cheapest and thinnest. You will regret it.

These are not the same blankets used by professional movers but they are absolutely more than adequate for a self move or to use for storage covers. They are large, sturdy and arrived clean and odor free. The seller I used, Cheap Cheap Moving Boxes LLC, got them to me lightening quick and days before expected. They only negative was from the manufacturers use of nylon strapping to wrap the blankets, the metal clasps created a small tear in one of the blankets during shipping, Also, there was one blanket with a dirt or stain mark but they're moving blankets and for the price they're still an excellent buy.

The best part of these moving blankets is that there are 12 and they're cheap. We restore furniture and often move large pieces of furniture that need to be protected. These are things but there are 12 of them so you can double them up and get the same effect as the thicker ones. They are just as big as all of the other ones so that is a non issue. The reason I gave this 4 stars is that they are pretty thin. They will protect from scratches but if you don't double them you could get dings. They are very well made though with good stitching so I do not anticipate them falling apart or threads coming out. I would recommend this set to anyone that moves stuff on a regular basis but if you have some high end furniture for a big move I would get some thicker ones. I suppose you could get these with the mindset that there are 6 and simply double them up all the time. Give them a shot and I'll think you'd like them.

Follow-up: FOUR moves in total so far, two interstate and two local, and these blankets are still holding up like a champ. Out of the 24 we bought, all are still in service and only one or two are showing any wear. Definitely a worthwhile investment.Look good so far. I didn't read the description to notice they were non-woven fabric, but the description lists that clearly enough. So, my bad on that one. If necessary, I'll update after the move once I've seen how they hold up.Side Note: these are the most insanely over-packed item I've ever received from Amazon. If you save all the packing material in which these blankets are packed, you'll be able to pack up the rest of your house. Outer box, 3 plastic bands, inner cardboard wrap, a half-dozen more plastic bands, woven plastic bag that is sewn shut, inner clear plastic bag. The sense of accomplishment that came with freeing these blankets from their captivity was palpable.
