This ceramic spoon rest is a nice size, fitting comfortably between the burners of our stove. It matches our black and white kitchen perfectly! The glazing is a little rough, but it doesn't affect usage. It can accommodate large stirring spoons, and is easy to clean.

First off, let me say that when I ordered it in pink and white, I know it did say that, but to me some of the pictures shown made it look more tan than pink, so I thought I'd receive it in those colors. It definitely is pink and white, but I'm not disappointed. It actually looks really nice. The ceramic does not look factory made - there are a couple of little indentations on the bottom. The paint has a nice texture to it - you can see and feel the raised lines the brush made. And the paint appears matte, which by reducing reflectivity increases the handmade look. Usually factory made items appear uniformly reflective.I can sympathize with the reviewer who ordered black and white and didn't like the look - to me the black and white does have more of an auto shop/1950's soda fountain vibe. I'd recommend the pink and white one, which brings a nice warmth to the kitchen. I love that it's dishwasher safe as well - the less I have to worry about ceramics that need to be hand washed, the better. I'm a stickler for good design - good form and function - and this one passes the test for me.
