Kitchen must have if you don’t love the triangle type grater! Great value for the money. Sharp and small yet large enough for easy use! Cleaning is a breeze and it seems sturdy so far! I would also consider this item safe as long as it’s used properly and cautiously.

It is the perfect size for I need it for. I have a large grater, but sometimes don't want to use it. This little one works perfectly for grating small amounts like I do. I have the larger one for larger amounts. I love it and I found it to be worth the money.

Quelle ne fût pas ma surprise en ouvrant la boîte : cette râpe à fromage est vraiment petite! Je suppose que je ne peux m'en prendre qu'à moi seule : la grandeur était inscrite dans la description et certaines évaluations le mentionnaient précisément. Nous ne l'avons utilisée qu'une seule fois jusqu'à présent et c'est mon conjoint qui a râpé le bloc de fromage : il mentionne que la râpe est suffisamment longue, mais qu'elle aurait eu avantage à être un peu plus large. Tout de même, la râpe est robuste et se lave très bien. À cette taille, elle prendra certainement moins de place dans le tiroir!!!

I missed the old fashioned flat graters, and this looked like one. But it turned out to be only proportioned like full size. It's only a fraction as big. It's perfectly okay and functional as a little cheese grater, but I don't have a lot of need for that. I still want and need the full size version.

Plenty big enough and super easy to use and clean! Just perfect for our family and the preferred tool, though we have multiple options from box cutters to expensive gourmet kitchen gadgets. When I just need to grate a little, as for a couple breakfast burritos or for light cheese topping on a casserole, this is the tool for me. It is not bulky like box graters and is far easier to clean. I like that it has a hole to hang on my kitchen tool hooks and it's light weight but sturdy enough to get the job done well. Even my husband, who is picky about quality tools in the garage, workshop, and also in the kitchen, only reaches for this cheese grater...every single time he wants cheese on something. (BTW, I'm not being paid or getting any benefit from this review other than just saying what I've found to be true. Was a bit concerned after reading reviews but SO GLAD I took the chance and got it! Hope you will be too!)

I’ve been looking for a smaller grater like this. This one is sturdy yet light. It’s perfect for grating cheese over a plate or a single carrot into a salad. I was pleasantly surprised that it works well with softer cheeses as well. Shred a bit of mozzarella right over your plate of pasta and let it melt in! It’s not as sharp as a Microplane but good for the price. People complaining about the size should start reading the description details as they clearly state the exact size.

Beware of the size! If you are a smurf- feel free to add two stars to my rating.The product's grating area is 2.4" wide x 4.5" long. Ergo, this will only work with smurf size blocks of cheese. And since I'm not fond of grating my fingers, for me to actually use this I would have to carve my cheese block down to size (yeah- that'll happen), and then what about all the "non-gratable" cheese used to grip these manually created mini-blocks? It's pretty worthless to me- except for the fact that I now have a gift for the post-Christmas white elephant party . . .I'm giving it two stars, basically because it's construction is just fine for 4.99.
