I almost did not order these boots because I have found that sometimes footwear ordered over the internet can be disappointing. I took the risk and I am very glad that I did. We had a pretty active winter and I found myself using these boots virtually everyday. I have also taken to wearing them to casual social outings. I think they look great with jeans. They are also comfortable enough that I can wear them all day.

I've been a fan of this style of boot since I visited Australia and bought a pair of Rossiters. Those wore out long ago, and when I ran across these, I decided to take a chance.I wear a 10 wide shoe and was concerned that wide styles aren't an option here. The size 10 felt quite snug when I first put them on: snug, but not constrictive or overly tight. Fortunately, they seem to have relaxed and stretched just enough to accommodate my feet. There is one thumb's width of space between my big toe and the inside end of the boot.I tried them out on a two-mile walk and had no problems, although my right heel rubs just a bit on the inside that tells me I might develop a blister if I were to talk several more miles. But these aren't walking or hiking shoes, so I don't see that being an issue.The instep seems a little tight at times, but not uncomfortably so. If there are to be any problems, it will be either with the glued sole separating from the boot, or else cracking at the stress points along the instep. So far there's no problem on either front, but only years will tell.These are nice-looking and confortable boots for a great price. I can't think of any reason not to recommend them.

I have short arms so putting these boots on was a little difficult. After getting them on the fit was very tight so the boots, I received were about a 1/2 size small. I recommend ordering a 1/2 size larger than you wear. After wearing them all day they did loosen up a little but were still a little tight. I hope they will continue to loosen up. Even though they were tight I did not like that they were a little loose at the heal allowing your heal to move up and down which could cause a blister. Again, this may disappear as the boots get broke in. The design and quality of the build seem good. The top sole is stitched but the bottom sole and the boot is glued to the sole. Only time will tell if the glue they used is any good. The inner soles were comfortable and seem to break in quickly. After the second day of ware the boots feel a little looser and more comfortable. Overall, after more ware I think the boots will break in and fit comfortably. Recommend

These boots have quickly become my new main boot to wear for work or when I need a "big ole' stompy boot" and still be fashionable.The material on these boots is thick enough to keep the boot's structure and also stay warm and protective from the elements. I live in Wisconsin and the winters here are brutal! I can wear these boots with my thick thermal socks and not feel like they are too tight or uncomfortable.Speaking of fit, they have exceeded my expectations. I have wide feet and toes and most boots/shoes are far too narrow for my comfort. These boots give me enough room to wiggle my pinky toe if I so choose! For boots that aren't advertised as "wide", they certainly do the job. The elastic part near the ankles is also stable and maintaining its elasticity. I've been wearing these consistently for about 2 weeks now and they are still secure enough on my foot to not fear them coming off with each step.For the first few days, the heel of the boot was a little stiff but after "breaking them in", this was no longer an issue.The insole of the boot is rather comfy, as well. It is also lightly glued to the floor of the boot (I did not know this until I took out the insole for a picture) to not have it move around but since the insole is perfectly sized for the boot, I don't think you will have to worry about the insole moving at all.Overall, I am very satisfied with these boots and will continue to make these my main boot for the winter season.
