With our hard water, we need to keep the filters clean in our humidifier. This keeps them from turning yellow and keeps the water nice and fresh. I just use two capfuls per gallon of water and it has been working like a gem. This is a great deal compared to what I usually get. My usual I would get one bottle of this for the same price. I loved that it came with the micro fiber cleaning cloth, which I’ve actually already used to help clean my counters. Bonus!

I have a large humidifier, it holds about 5 gallons of water. When the humidity is good the water will sometimes sit in it for a few days with out being circulated causing some nasty buildup. This additive works great at keeping the water stable. This is something you should use to keep your air cleaner and your machine in good operating condition.

I've tried this for about a month and I do think it makes a difference.I don't have to clean the humidifier as much, although I still check to make sure it is not getting gross.I am not 100% sure it is all from this treatment, as I also started using better filtered water, but it can't hurt.You get a ton of it, so you'll have months, if not years worth of humidifier treatment with one purchase. You don't add much at all, so that makes it easy to use.

The Plexon Microfiber Cleaning Cloth is large and has many uses and the Best Air 1T Extra Strength Humidifier Water helps keep my evaporative humidifier running better. I use the cloth to wipe off my humidifier's water reservoir after filling to prevent drips as I insert it. The humidifier treatment helps with hard water and precipitates the minerals for easier removal and clean-up. It also reduces the mineral buildup that clogs the wick filter and necessitates more frequent replacement.
