I can't believe these handle 12V @1.25A (15W) and are this tiny. I got one to drive some efficient outdoor step lights. These are a fraction of the cost of some of the waterproof drivers I was considering, and it's a 2 pack! So, of course you have to make YOUR coupling and wiring waterproof. And no these don't have aluminum heat sinks. But at this low power they are super easy to mount and forget about.Note these may not go too far for bigger lighting projects of course, many modern strip lights want 2A (24W) or may even be 24V DC input. But if you can use them these are SO fun for small budget projects or breadbox use!

I bought this for my LED house numbers, since the ones sold by that brand require a 12v wall adapter. I instead used this and wired it into the load side of a photocell located in an adjacent light. Now they come on automatically at night, and the driver is well hidden, 2 sided taped to the back of the light. I’d say you could probably fit this inside an octagon box if you needed to. Exactly what I was looking for!
