I love, love this set of bamboo 4-inch knitting needles They are so nice to hold fitting your hands better than the 5-inch needles. I only gave them 4 stars as the cables are flimsy when you are working with #5 or more weight yarn. Luckily I have a set of ChiaoGoo Twist Red Lace Interchangeable Circular Knitting Needle Set Complete and the red cables work with the Bamboo set. They need to return to the red cables for the Bamboo needles.

This is a pricey set. It's complete though and the tips are really nice. I like the fact that the bamboo tips are smooth and don't drag my yarn. The twist cables though are another story. They hang up at the join every single time and it's really frustrating. The good thing is that the tips are interchangeable with the red lace cables which are much better. They're memory free, but the join leaves a lot to be desired.

This review is of the product, not the seller (who did send these promptly).I LOVE the metal ChaioGoo needles and cords. I was in the market for a set of wooden interchangeable needles and so I ordered these. I was so disappointed. The quality of these cords is very poor. It is way too thin for even the smallest needles in the set and yarn gets caught on the cords rather than sliding smoothly. The smaller needles have sharper (but not sharp) tips, but the thicker needles have very blunt tips. I hope that Chaiogoo will rethink this product and use the amazing red cords which are better than anything else I’ve tried. In the meantime I’m back to my KnitPicks wooden needles (when I need wood).

I love working with these bamboo needles because i knit at night. If I use the metal needles the glare from my work light on the metal blinds me. So I obviously have more than one WIP, one for the daytime and one for the night.The cable on these interchangeables are very flexible, never in my way. And the points on the needles are pointy enough that I can easily work the lace stitches.Enjoy!

Love this set! The 4 in set is so much better than the 5 in. I have the metal set in 5 in. It was packaged in padded envelope, but should’ve been mailed in a box. Wood needles break. The bag is actually a nice size craft bag, I thought it was just a small one for the needles. So rather impressed, as it will be very handy. It’s made like a backpack. The price is the cheapest online..so VERY pleased with this purchase. These are brand new, not used. Also, these are very smooth, and yarn will not snag or drag. Oh, this is the COMPLETE set :)
