I purchased one of these dual bottle coolers specifically because it came in a brass color or plating. It was going to be placed in a bar room which has a lot of brass items and accents so it was important to me that this was in a matching brass finish. However, this item's brass coloration is remarkably different than real brass and significantly different than the pictures of the product. In actuality it looks very faded and only slightly brassy. This item should work fine as a dual bottle cooler, so I decided to keep it regardless of the disappointing color. But I will end up placing it in a very unobvious location. So, if you are like me and the actual color is important to you, then you will probably want to consider other product options.
