I used this product on the chicks I hatched while they were in a small coop. I couldn't let them out while they were growing & they need grit to digest food, so this is a substitute for it. It's the perfect size for the tiny mouths & stomachs of chicks. Definitely purchase this if you're raising chicks! Also the price is competitive to other suppliers.

My ducklings have no problems with this grit! They eat is easy and without complaint! It mixed well into their starter feed and is the same size. It comes with a nifty resealable top to prevent messes.
