Our chickens love this, and prefer it scattered on the ground instead of their regular feed bin. Glad to provide some entertainment for them!A 5-pound bag does not go far, And the price is high for the amount, so we are saving it for when the employee's kids come over (about once a week). Gives the kids something visual to look at, and they enjoy watching the chickens scratch around as well.

Wish I could give a taste review but hey, the chickens ate it up and the protein is great for them! It's a small bag depending on how many chickens you have, but it seems pretty good.

I have been feeding the wild ducks that live near us for a while. They really like it and it seems to be a good food choice for them. I like the mix of ingredients.

I had a rule couple years ago never to buy vine review items because usually the reviews are exaggerated and the item doesn’t live up to the hype. I don’t know why I broke my rule, but I did and I have regrets. I don’t know about anyone else, but when I use scratch I like to throw out in the yard for the chickens will scratch around and hunt for it. Keep my chickens mind busy. I knew it was bad without taking it out of the box. It’s like so fine, almost next to dust. I can’t return the product, so I’m out the money . Trust me, don’t waste your money. NEVER BUY VINE REVIEWED PRODUCTS

Nothing wrong with this at all — our chickens love it! They’re usually pretty picky, but they really enjoy this organic scratch. I love that it’s made with natural, non-GMO ingredients and is soy-free. Great quality and definitely something I’ll keep buying for my flock with the price, you really can't go wrong.

I mean sure, my chickens will eat just about anything so their review isn't worth much. They did gobble this up with above normal vigor though. The quality of what's inside does appear to be top notch. It looks and smells better than some of the other scratch I have used at least. If it is indeed all organic and promotes digestive support and provides protein etc. then I do feel better about giving it to my flock versus some of the others I have purchased. It's a little pricey but it's clearly better quality than a lot of the others out there.

Though this feed is higher priced than I would normally pay for this purpose, it works well in my "regular bird" feeder. It came up in my search for bird food in my Vine items to order, and review, so I thought I would give it a try.I recently ordered a bird feeder with a camera, for my apartment railing, because there are several birds that like the tree next to my building. My neighbors, and I, frequently leave seeds, and bread crumbs for them., but they hadn't had any interest in the feeder. That is, before now. They love this, and I also like that the grains are smaller than I expected, which is a good thing.

Well the chickens loved it! It does have quality ingredients, and I like the diatamaceous earth factor and the kelp. That being said, it was a bit dusty so throwing it out as scratch is usually done around here makes for waste as the dusty stuff blows in the wind. Girls ate it up in a minute so it must taste good but so does the other types of scratch I have given them before. It is pricey for scratch and yes i get the whole organic thing but for that small of a bag I may just stick to other options. It was worth the try.
