Chicken shredder is made out of a food grade material. It is sturdy and easy to use. It has suction cups on the bottom and these kept it securely attached to my countertop and prevented it from sliding while using. The handles are comfortable and turn full circle and shreds the chicken quickly. The cover is clear which is a nice feature so you can see the food inside. And it’s easy to clean and can be put in the dishwasher. I shredded chicken to make dog food and as you can see by the photo it did a nice job. I’m excited to try other meats and lettuce with it.

Comes in handy - easy to use and works as advertised - much better than manually shredding. We've used this shredder for pulled pork and chicken for tacos with excellent results. Quality build, nice size and cleans up very easily. We did not have any problems with the unit at all - definitely recommended!

I have seen these little gadgets around and always told myself I wanted one and today was that day. I can't believe I went this long using two forks to shred chicken like some chump. It's ready to use right out of the box despite the instructions telling you to install the rotating handles. The suction cups are on the bottom already in place however they are less suction-y and more rubber stoppers.Ok so don't be like me and use cold cooked chicken because it will not work! Not sure what I was thinking but we had chicken breast for dinner the night before and put the rest in the fridge for me to make chicken pot pie tonight. I put the thick breast on the spikes, put the lid on, gave it a twist and..... pop! All the tiny suction cups came out from the bottom and one of them went into the land of no return. I put the rest of the suctions back in and for some reason tried it again (I guess I wanted to see if it would still work with a missing stopper) Obviously the little stoppers all came out again and the chicken didn't even budge. Now I'm on my 3rd attempt and decided to put all the chicken breast in the microwave for 30 seconds to soften it. That did the trick because I was able to shred 2 thick breast and 2 cutlets in about 1 min flat with ease. Here I am laughing at myself for spending more time putting those little stoppers back in place than it took to shred all the chicken. Even the cleanup afterwards was easy with just a drop of soap and a rinse, it is ready to go again. Needless to say, you need this in your life and don't do what I did. 10/10 recommend!

This is a very basic device. It works exceptionally well, and super fast. I was able to shred an entire chicken in about 5 mins, and that was taking my time because it was hot.Don't even have to slice the chicken, put one breast in at a time otherwise it will get overloaded, and not shred well.2 issues i have with this design.1. the shredder gets stuck if you put too much in the shredder at a time. (very minor issue)2. bigger issue. The feet fall out of place super easily. I have almost already lost 3 of the sticky feet.That said with the feet in place. It sticks to our countertop perfectly and does not move at all.it also comes with a couple cleaning accessories, which is great too!

Can you shred cooked chicken for salads, tacos, etc. without this gadget? Of course, but why would you want to? It is so much easier and quicker to do with this chicken shredder tool. Just place your cooked piece of boneless firmly on the spikes of the bottom piece. Then press firmly on the top clear dome cover and twist clockwise, then counter clockwise a few times using the 2 handles. You control the texture by twisting more or less. When you reach the desired texture, remove the top cover & put your shredded chicken in a bowl and add seasonings or sauce as desired. It also works great for boneless pork roast or pork loin. We really love shredded pork roast with homemade gravy and biscuits for a hearty winter meal. This meat shredder has multiple little suction cups on the bottom of the base to hold it firmly in place while you are using it. It is made of quality food safe plastic that is sturdy and easy to clean. A handy cleaning brush is included, but so far I haven’t needed it. I just remove any little pieces of meat left behind, and then either hand wash in warm soapy water & rinse, or run it through the dishwasher. Great addition to my kitchen gadget collection.

This shredder worked very well. I pounded the chicken breasts to about a 1-inch thickness before baking them. After they cooled, I put one in the shredder and twisted the top around. The breast shredded partially but large chunks were left. I cut the other (larger) breast into smaller size pieces - about 5 pieces - and put about half in the shredder and it worked great. The longer you rotate the top the finer shred you get, so you can control the shred you get for different meats and recipes.The unit came assembled. There are 8 small suction cups around the rim of the base which secure the shredder to the counter quite well so there was no scooting around while the top was rotated. I did find it wasn't necessary to turn the top all the way around to shred the chicken. It worked just as well to rotate half-way in each direction until the meat was shredded. Also, it wasn't as awkward a movement since you need to keep both hands on the handles. The shredder looks solid and was easy to clean with soap and water. A good, angled brush is included but wasn't necessary for this cleaning.

This is a neat little tool to have in the kitchen. It shreds the chicken with ease. It did leave a few big chunks but no big deal. It was so much easy and faster with this tool. The cons to this is that I had 2 of the suction cups fall off as soon as I opened it. It also didn't suction to the counter that will. It kept slipping around. I had to kinda hold it down with 1 hand who routing it with the other which was very weird. If I can figure out a way to keep it from sliding I would use this every chance I could.
