I have carpal tunnel and this has made shredding chicken so easy! I've made so many meals using it. In fact, my kids have asked if we're having shredded chicken for every meal now. I've even sent the link to friends. The best $8 I've spent.

I originally bought it for fun, but it turned out to be more versatile than expected. It's not just for chicken—I also use it to shred pork and even fruits. The only improvement needed is that it doesn’t stick to the countertop well so cost one star. However, for this price, I do recommend it.

This is a life saver for shredding chicken. No more burnt fingers when the chicken is hot. Grips right to the table, and easy cleaning.

We were able to shred a rotisserie chicken in about 5 minutes which was amazing! Using this, keep the following in mind - if you over fill it, you are left with ‘chunks ‘ as pictured. But if you don’t add enough meat, it doesn’t do anything. The key is figuring out the right amount to get it all shredded. It comes with a double pronged fork which is very useful. We did find it easiest to use the shredder and then put a paper plate on top of the base and flip it upside down. Washing it isn’t the easiest, however, it’s worth the effort because of the end result.
