This shredder works great and doesn't budge when shredding. Easy to use as all you do is turn the top against the bottom. Cleaning takes some care so as not to damage the spikes. But, with the time saved by shredding with this, the time cleaning is nothing to complain about. The price seems about right as it saves money and time in the long run.

Goodbye shredding meat with 2 forks LOL!I won’t be doing that anymore!This meat shredder made taco night a breeze! Less work for mom, thank goodness! It’s worth the money, and it came with tongs and a cleaning brush. It is NOT easy to clean without some kind of bristle brush, which is what it came with. I forgot it came with the brush and I tried cleaning it with a sponge and it was horrible, you need a bristle brush. The base has rubber bottom so it doesn’t slip around. Mine still slipped around a bit but not too badly. Do NOT over pack the device, my first attempt I packed it full and it smooshed some of the chicken chunks down to the bottom and it didn’t get shredded properly so I had to empty it out and redo the chicken that didn’t shred. This shredding device works so much better than me trying to use 2 forks, I absolutely loved how well the shredded chicken came out, nice and fluffy. I highly recommend this shredder!

I was a bit hesitant when I was looking at this because I was worried it would slide around a lot, that it wouldn't be that effective, and that it would be slow. All three of these issues ended up not actually being issues.When I got it, I was surprised at how thick and solid the plastic felt, it did not feel "cheap" at all. I pulled some chicken out of the instant cooker and placed it on the spikes of the bottom portion and the top spikes just went straight through the chicken when I pushed the top down on it gently. Spinning the top portion, the bottom stayed solidly connected to the countertop, no slippage whatsoever. And literally 2-3 seconds later, the chicken was completely shredded. It was so much faster than I expected! It was extremely easy to use. I dumped the shredded chicken, put on another two pieces of chicken, and shredded those. I went through a bunch of chicken super fast this way and then was able to just throw it in the dishwasher. Easy to use, easy to clean. It even went through the dishwasher well without any weird spots that collected water.So, overall, very pleased with the performance and cleaning. Admittedly, it's a very niche product and if you're not shredding a lot of chicken or beef, it may just take up kitchen space. But if you're doing much shredding at all, this would be well worth it!

I can't even express how excited I am about this Shredder Tool! I wear a wrist brace, so shredding chicken or other meat (you can even do it with some veggies too) used to be a slow, painful process for me. But this saves me so much time! You just place small pieces of cooked meat or veggies into the container, put the cover on, and turn the handles a few times. Boom! Shredded chicken (or anything else) in seconds, exactly how you want it. It works so well.The handle are comfortable and very easy to use, and the base has an anti-slip feature that keeps everything steady. After shredding, you can use the stainless steel tongs (included with this) to transfer the food straight to your plate or bowl. It's simple, less messy and cleanup is so easy, too!-It’s BPA-free, which is great!A quick tip: this shredder is designed for cooked foods, so don’t try using it with raw meat (it works best when everything’s already cooked).If you want to save a lot of time in the kitchen, or if you're like me and struggle with hand strength, grab one of these ASAP. It’s a total kitchen essential! I highly recommend this for everyone.

I like the product. I like the fact that it comes with tongs and brush to make it easy cleaning. One thing I am not to sure about is the handles. Some meat is tough and I feel that they could become an issue.

This device does a great job of shredding chicken. We have many cats inside and also ferals outside, and I have been shredding chicken breasts every day to take care of them for years. I mix it with various cat foods, and overall it cuts the cost. That's counterintuitive, but by the pound, chicken in many cases is quite a bit less than cat food! Anyway, that is why I need this shredder and why it's so tremendously helpful. I cook and shred 4 to 5 chicken breasts each day. It used to take a minimum of 20 minutes to pull and cut, but nowadays I can get the job done, including cleaning the shredder (super easy), in 10 minutes or less. That is quite a savings in time that I am glad to have each day.This shredder had all the parts needed, including some handy tongs and instructions, and was easy to put together. Putting the handles on the sides was a bit difficult when I was trying to push them in on a hard surface or with my hands only, but I found that if you put the top on a soft or carpeted surface and place the grips for each side into the openings and push hard, they will pop right in. You put the chicken in the bottom, put the lid over the chicken and twist until it's shredded as coarse or fine as you like it (6 to 10 twists for me), and voila! shredded chicken. It's really amazing and so much better and faster than doing it manually. I now believe strongly that a chicken shredder is an essential tool in the kitchen, and this one is excellent. I highly recommend it!
