Drhomeam Chimney Sweep Brush Replacement Head – ReviewI've used several nylon rotary chimney brushes over the years, and I typically get 3 to 4 uses out of each one. This Drhomeam brush is no different in that regard. For the price, it's still a great bargain compared to hiring a professional chimney sweep.A tip for better longevity: I recommend trimming the nylon bristles so the brush diameter is about an inch larger than your chimney flue. This seems to reduce stress on the bristles and prevent them from snapping off—something a few other reviewers have complained about. As with all nylon brushes, these are consumables. They’re not made from materials that will last for years, but if you're burning dry, seasoned wood and keep a regular cleaning schedule, they do the job well.I’ll definitely order this again when the time comes. One small modification I had to make: I drilled out the quick-release attachment slightly to fit my poles, which are designed for 1/2" connectors. Took about five minutes and was no problem at all.

I use this product 2 times per week to clean out a three foot straight and two 45 degree angle sections. They are removed from the stove, taken outside and secured firmly before use. Have used one like this in the past. The previous ones lasted about 4 months each. This one lasted three uses and all of the ends fell off and now it's too short to clean my 6" stove pipe. I want this replaced asap!
