These boots seemed very nice at first and just what my daughter wanted...until she put them on and we discovered a defect on one of them. There was a spot on the left side of the left boot about the size of a quarter where it appeared that the rubber had been either scraped or melted off, leaving a white section in the middle of the purple pattern. Of course, my daughter was very disappointed and wanted to exchange the boots, but her size in this style was out of stock. The company we purchased them from was very accommodating and offered us a different style or a refund. I certainly do not fault the retailer, but rather, the manufacturer of the boots, for their negligence in properly inspecting their product.
