This garland is very pretty! My only complaint is that no matter how you position the flowers you can only see them from the side. I feel like it would've been better if the flowers were positioned so the bottom was attached to the string therefore making the top of the flower more visible. I cut up the garland and arranged it with orange slice garlands to make a some wall decor. It turned out beautiful! It shed a little bit but that was excepted with dried flowers. It was very easy to clean up with a vacuum.

When my sister and I were much younger, she and I, our mother, and her mother (our grandmother) would work on flower arrangements to enter into the local county fair every year. When it came to the Summer fair we'd use fresh flowers and, when it came to the Fall fair, we'd used dried. We have so many happy memories of working with flowers!!! So, when I saw these flowers that so closely resemble my sister's favorite in the worlds, and with her birthday coming up in a couple of months, I knew I'd be getting these to use to decorate for her birthday surprise this year!!This is a garland of dried strawflowers with thin, rough twine threaded through the center of each one and secured in place with a dot of hot glue. I admit, I might've wished that they were strung a different way, but this way surely is the most secure. These flowers will not be falling off the twine!! As is typical with dried strawflowers, they are brittle with a tendency to shed, so treat them with care! Ahhhh they even smell like Norcal (now out of business) and Sequoia Floral from when I was a kid!The color on these is magnificent! Everything from cream-gold to a rich, dark mauve, with touches of burgundy here and there. If you're doing anything with dried flowers or greenery at all, these would be a wonderful addition to accent the area with them! These are so lovely that I have a feeling that these just may vanish into my sister's room once her birthday is over!!There are some packets of desiccant in here, as there should be, so be aware of the need to dispose of those before any pets or kids get them. The internet says that strawflowers are non-toxic, but silica gel and the like used for preserving them definitely -are- toxic. Without the desiccant, they'll need to be stored in a cool, dry place when not in use, for sure!Edit: When I went to post this, I noticed that the title on the product page mentions both sunflowers and chrysanthemums. I'd just like to reiterate that these are traditional, dried strawflowers, which you'll commonly see in preserved floral arrangements. They look like mums a lot (one reason why we love them) but they're a flower all their own and just as lovely!!

Half of the slices were as green as limes. Not at all what I was looking for.

I think it's a little overpriced for what you get. Next time I think I'll make my own garland at home. But! I will say it is a good product, none came broken and it looks very pretty up on my mantle. It also still smells like oranges too which is a plus! The color is good too.
