Lots of complexity to the puzzle but very easy to do. Had a lot of fun with my 10 year old

Who doesn’t love the grinch, max, and Cindy Loo? They alone make this a great advent calendar puzzle. Comes with a full sized poster. Love that each day is potentially its own image—I say potentially because it didn’t arrive that way. Instead of having a complete picture in each little box, there were a bunch of partial images for each day—not very satisfying for your one-a-day advent puzzle experience. Even as an adult, I found it confusing and frustrating. I was able to put them all away with one complete picture per box, so I don’t know why they don’t send them out that way. The other issues I had were with the piece shapes all being the same, and the backs of the pieces peeling off in little bits. The little boxes are a bit cheap as well. I still gave it four stars, though, because once you arrange the pieces in the boxes correctly, you do get a very cute advent puzzle with all your favorite characters from the grinch, which is a pretty cool thing.

We get advent calendars every year for all our friends to hand out at our big Thanksgiving dinner. It’s a challenge to find unique ones for each adult so it’s always nice to find something cool that will work to bring out the kid in everyone. This is a well-made calendar and it’s unique.
