My '01 Wide Glide had the issue where the shifter was really flopping around, and when I took a look at it the OEM linkage was really worn - to the point that I was worried that it was about to fail. after looking at linkages available at several different shops as I traveled for work, I didn't find anything that I liked well enough to spend the exorbitant HD prices for such a simple item.I found this one and based on previous ratings, decided to purchase. Very simple install, the pivot points are really hefty, and it definitely looks much nicer than the plain 21-year-old OEM linkage it replaced.I have no issues with this purchase and would purchase again if I needed another.

Product is ok but the amount I was charged on my visa was more than it was advertised for, and also more than the invoice states. It is an import fee that you don't know about until you get your invoice.

You get what you pay for but I’m deducting 2 stars because it isn’t what’s pictured.The finish was bad. Very thin chrome plate. You can see all the cut grooves in the metal underneath, the ends have bubbles, I didn’t use the bolts that it came with because they’re cheap aluminum looking bolts and the nut wasn’t even threaded. Forget the end cover cause it’s basically a piece of tin. Not even chrome plated or polished.I polished and sealed it with ceramic coat. It will do for now.

So, I got this today a bit sceptical. It took me 1 beer to replace it, I had to clean my bike to finish the other 5. Great link! I'm happy I didn't spend 100 bucks on it. This one is super sturdy. Fits great and it's easy to adjust to the length you want. Just went on a quickie and it shifts amazing. I would say even better then OEM, but could be the beers. I'll ride again tomorrow and let you all know.The only complaint I have is the front nut (back doesn't need one, if you didnt know) does not fit due to lack of clearance, so I had to use the OEMs and it works just fine. I have a 2006 Roadglide if you were curious.

It worked great on my project though not for a full size bike. I applied it to a 3/4 size 125cc mini chopper with forward controls. Was relieved it had enough adjustment and fit perfectly . Will stand by it's construction and style.

Pros: 2 day ship, Nice looking Chrome on rod, All parts included & wrapped well, Easy install.Cons: Metal cover for back shifter attachment IS NOT chrome! Plain dull stamped potmetal. Both bolts same length and front bolt/nut just nick cooling fin ( see pic). Makes no difference which way you put nut/bolt..Just zero clearance and had to use old stock nut to attach. So long acorn nut is useless.Overall for 20$, seems a bargain, but we will see how it performs.
