Navigate through parenthood
Baby's first year is not easy. Doing something creative together can help clear up the dreaded “baby fog” while building that special bond with your little one.
Open your box and empty out all its contents.
Take out your clay and knead it for 3-5 minutes until it’s soft.
Separate the wooden mount above from your namesake frame, ready for the next step.
Using the rolling pin, roll your clay into the recessed area on your wooden mount. Ensure your clay reaches all edges and corners.
Lubricate your child’s hand or foot and press into the clay to create an impression.
Leave your clay to dry for 8 hours before continuing. In the meantime, find a photo to stick on the remaining wooden mount.
Once dry, cover your impression with the white paper frame. Then cover both wooden mounts with the plastic sheets enclosed.
Place your wooden frame over both mounts and secure in place from the back.

I was hesitant at first with this product because I didn't know if it would be easy to do with newborn hands being so small....it was easier than expected! The instructions were very clear and there was no mess in the process! The quality and the price go hand in hand. Clay was soft, easy to roll out into the form, didn't hurt my baby to get an imprint, didn't leave a mess on baby, and made a nice gift.

I only gave it 4 stars because one of the images made it seem like you could do a hand/footprint on both sides but I ended up having to buy another one to achieve this (rather than do a photo on the other side) but I absolutely love how it came out!

These frames are clearly handmade, and not well. The plastic frames were unusable due to recycling symbols printed on the frame. One of the ones I opened also had sharpie marks on the frame. Safe yourself the headache and buy a different one

The clay was extremely oily and started separating and cracking within minutes of adding the baby's footprint. When you remove it from the frame to knead it again if there is not a good print (as their directions say to do) it pulls particles from the pressed wood/ cardboard frame, making the dough look dirty and filled with brown specks. There are much better choices out there. Skip this one.
