The material of this robe is about on par with cheap graduation regalia. Imagine a trade show tablecloth that has been cut and sew it into a robe.However, considering it's meant for religious ceremonies, perhaps cheapness is a benefit, since austerity is generally perceived as a virtue. It also drapes rather elegantly compared to some fabrics, but the wearer will almost definitely feel the "quality" of the material.

I got this for communion services and it is perfect. It fits well over my clothes and has openings so I don't over heat. The color is accurate and very vibrant. The detail and design are very nice. The sizing chart is accurate so order for the neck size. The quality is good and it looks amazing when you wear it. The price point is good for the quality. I am pleased.
