It's the best 55.00 plus tax I've spent this year!First, there are 3 video reviews I saw that have 1 star, and they are all misleading videos. Here's why. The 1st 1 star video shows that water did not reach 460 degrees. Boiling water temp reaches 212 degrees F at sea level. Period. The person who said it didn't reach 460 F doesn't know basic chemistry. The next 2 videos that showed that out of the box, the cooktops didn't work doesn't know how induction cooktops work. Induction is electromagnetic energy, and this induction cooktop needs something magnetic on top to work. In other words, it needs an induction(magnetic metal)pot or pan or any magnetic material on the top of the cooktop in order to start activating the induction energy. The 2 videos that gave 1 star clearly has nothing in the top of it. They simply didn't know how to work the cooktop.Now to why I love it: It is QUIET and works just like it should! I got the pink version and it goes with all my pink appliances.If you're hesitating due to bad reviews, don't! Plus this is not my 1st induction cooktop. I've owned 6, and have tried 2 other styles all spanning for about 14 years. They were way more expensive than this, but this is the quietest one so far. It's important to remember that the flatter the bottom of the pan, the quieter the heating. If the pan or pot is not completely flat on the bottom, it will be louder.Hope this helps.

Very noisy the buzz gave us a headache in 7 minutes.Did not wait to see how it worked. Repacked in 11 minutes.Disappointed because it matched my ice cream maker. It was a nice retro pink.

I create recipe content so I got this to make filming easier- and it was a bonus that it was the same color as my branding. It's a great size, easy to clean and could have solved a lot of my problems. However, it doesn't quite work properly. When I can get it to work at all, the heating is uneven and doesn't allow me to cook the food properly, which of course is the whole point.

Amazing cooktop! Be aware only certain pots and pans are compatible with this, has to have metal / stainless steel bottom. Boils water exceptionally! I would buy this product again as long as it’s pink!
