MINIMUM 90-MINUTE EMERGENCY ILLUMINATION
An internal switch connects the battery to the emergency lights and makes sure they stay on for at least 90 minutes during a power outage.
The fully automatic solid-state, two-rate battery charger initiates charging in 24 hours.
The unit also includes a charge rate/power "ON" LED indicator light and a push-to-test switch, as required by code.

The 3.6V Ni-Cad battery takes up to 24 hours to fully charge and can be used in temperatures from OCC to 400C. It can last up to 50,000 hours.

The only problem with this exit fixture is the wire leads for the LED lights are too short.

This is a great product, and a very good price for it, but beware that the instructions are not necessarily as detailed as you may prefer. If you have a basic knowledge of electrical work (or know someone who does), it shouldn't give you too much trouble.

easy light to install. Works as it should the exit light is on when you have electricity and the side light light up when power is off.
