Cam failure just like everyone do not waste time should’ve had my original head resurfaced and put my old one back on.

Excellent product! Car is running perfectly after replacing it with this cylinder head. Great price and I received the product on its expected delivery date.

Purchased this before there were any reviews on it in March. Bummer for me. Truck ran great for about 300 miles, then started having issues. It got parked until I had time to tear it back down. Opened it up today and guess what? Flat cam lobes and an engine full of metal! This is obviously not a quality piece, don't waste your time and money. I will be starting the process to get my money back, I will update how that goes.

Barely got 500 miles out of this head and the cam lobes are wiped out! Waisted 300 dollars on the head and another 300 on the new lifter assembly. Not to mention I have to pull the head back off to replace the head gasket now.

The camshaft failed within 200 miles.This was a freshly rebuilt motor my son and I built. I replaced the defective camshaft with a Quality Melling Camshaft TSC1. I also had to replace all of the rocker arms again. So our new engine is full of metal from a defective camshaft. I ask for a refund for the purchase price of the Head see reply from CIFIC. No mention of an apology or resolution....other than ship back our substandard parts will ship you another. No mention of wow how can we help with the internals of your engine with all the metal......I spent more on the new cam and rockers then the substandard head cost. We will see how long my sons new engine lasts............Thank you for the Support!!! See attached pictures of the camshaft... You should had contact us before replacing our camshaft in the head first. I talked to my supervisor, the best we can do is to refund the price of our camshaft to you, but you need to send it back for inspection first. If you still insist on getting the full refund, please return the whole head with all the parts.
