I bought these bells to accompany our Dixieland band on Christmas songs where a washboard just wasn’t quite the right sound. So they need to be loud enough to be heard over brass instruments. I used them both at the same time in one hand and they were great. They look beautiful too!! Great buy and I’m very impressed.

Used them for a Santa tour through the neighborhood so they were played outdoors. Their volume is ok but their tone is really good. Would expect that if your using them indoors, they'd probably sound really great.

As a musician, and a performer, I was skeptical about the quality of the sound the bells may have based on the really low price. We use them in rehearsal last night, and not only is the volume more than adequate, but the tone and the timbre of the actual bells against the felt is very pleasing and fits perfectly with Christmas music.

The first time shaking these, the handle came out. Glued again and it's fine.
