This Civilized Coffee Instant Cold Brew Coffee Granules Medium Dark Roast comes with two large canisters of instant coffee, and a 1 tbsp scoop (I measured it) for measuring. The coffee is a powder, rather than the larger granules found in many instant coffees. The coffee dissolves easily and thoroughly in both hot and cold water.Cold brew usually has a very smooth, mellow flavor, and I can't say this flavor is really what I'd expect from my prior experience with cold brew - it's more harsh, with an almost smoky note to it. It's not bad, just not what I'd anticipate from the "cold brew" labeling. If you look at it as ordinary instant coffee and not cold brew, it's not bad.As for value, it's really hard to say, as I can't find any indications of how many servings this contains. The package content is listed by weight, while a serving is measured by volume (1 tbsp to 8oz of water), so you can't figure this out without doing more measurement and math than I feel like doing. These are two generously sized containers that contain many servings - I suspect it is cheaper than buying coffee at a coffee shop, or even a gas station. But it appears to me that other similar instant coffee products may provide more servings at a lower price.

If you want instant cold coffee this is good, ready in less than a minute. It's very powdery so when you add water to it the coffee mostly melts away, helps to stir a bit. The coffee is somewhat bitter but if you add a flavored syrup and cream it does balance it out. There is some acidity to it so not perfect. Even though it's cold brew you don't have to let it set overnight.
