I've always had good experience with CKE products. I only need one set of these Pivot Connectors, and these fit the bill perfectly. Like their other products, the tolerances are good, and the material is good. For this particular set, these pivots fit nicely into my handrails, and I like how you can tighten down the pivot, although that always seemed odd since the handrails will be fixed and will hold the angle.The most challenging part of this is getting the miter cut perfect. I'm leaving the other end of the rail long, so if I mess up that cut, I can redo it without issue.Given the good tolerances, these should be durable, function well by holding their position, and be easy to install. They are a really good value for the money.

I'm new to cable stair railing etc. Originally my plan was to have individual pieces up my stair case which has a landing midway up and then a railing area above the lower stair. So this would have been a lot of individual sections and end caps if using coated aluminum (you can get stainless with the end caps welded in place). Both railing types are expensive though. Anyway, I did not like the broken up sections look and would be buying extra posts (posts are expensive too), so this was a way to save cost and improve the overall look for the pieces of railing that transition from a 30 degree of the staircase to the landing in one seamless piece. Now I'm looking for a transition that takes a stair railing to a landing railing to a level left or right turn. I checked the CKE store and they did not show one but see that if I use a vertical pivot and then add a 90 corner that is available in their store, I can accomplish the same thing, I just have to adjust where I mount the post both handrails line up. Anyhow all looks awesome so far and has been much easier than I thought to great this stunning look. CKE store will be my first stop. Super fast shipping
