Hardware is limited (not many pieces and is labeled for easy read and follow) instructions for building are simple point and shoot. The keyboard platform brackets could have been made an inch or two larger for my experience. However, it was warned that this setup would not work with any desk that had curved edges or a secondary lip, which was my case. I had to make necessary adjustments in my DIY attempts to install this under desktop keyboard slide tray on my desk.Once installed the keyboard tray does slightly slant in a downward position, the slide movement is smooth and the tray itself that holds the keyboard is large and would be large enough to support both keyboard and a mouse – I left my mouse setup on the topside of my desk and positioned my keyboard only on the new platform that now holds my keyboard at the perfect typing height and positioning that is comforting for my arms, hands and fingers.If one’s desk surface does not exceed 2.8 inches in thickness and does not have a curved or lipped undersurface, then this Computer Keyboard & Mouse Tray is a perfect solution for relocating both keyboard and mouse off the top of the desktop and conveniently setup new residency underneath the desk top surface.

I have three adjustable standing desks – one I just bought recently for my living room so I can use my Mac in my recliner or stand up. This particular desk has limited surface space and I wanted to use no drill clamp on accessories to help keep the surface as cleared as possible. I got this keyboard drawer for that effort. I wanted a drawer that was wide enough, but not too wide so I could fit the desk (which has coasters I added) over my recliner chair arms and still be able to work with my setup. This keyboard drawer was nearly perfect…nearly. The keyboard drawer surface comes in two pieces that you put together with two metal plates on the underneath of the surface with some provided screws. It was an easy assembly.  The clamps have some padding on them, which I like, to protect the surface of the desk. The tray works great but it slopes downward toward the back of the desk. The sloping would have been ok if it had been toward my lap instead of the back of the desk. So it sits the keyboard up higher in the front where it can be difficult to see the letters on the keys. It’s unnatural at best. Also, another reviewer pointed out that they are three bags of screws – A,B, and C. The instructions tell you to use the “C” screws to fasten the clamps on the drawer, but these are not the correct screws. But they do include enough “B” screws that work perfectly for the job.  Other than that minor annoyance, I like this tray a lot. It is a quality, sturdy tray and the clamps for great without being intrusive. I recommend.
