This planter had the most horrid smell and was nowhere near the size they said it would be it was cheap plastic and so it was sent back

I bought this pot because it actually looks like it is made of cement. But it is light-weight and the perfect size for repotting an indoor/outdoor hibiscus. It goes with any decor for an eclectic transitional look. The local retail stores only had shiny acrylic planters that looked cheap but we’re more expensive and in garish colours.

I needed a planter in the worst way; I had a plant (my first living plant in years) that was getting root bound but couldn't find anything reasonably priced at the garden centre and there was nothing to pick from in the big box stores. I happened upon this one and was pleasantly pleased with the look and price. It arrived quickly, is very lightweight and the perfect planter at the perfect price. My only complaint.....it had an awful odour when it first arrived.... it was like septic, backwater, sewage smell. Pee-u! I set it out on the deck for a day and now, all's good.

This review is geared more towards the customer service involving the item. The product itself is fine. Lightweight and looks nice. However, it arrived broken. The packaging was in pristine shape but the pot was cracked at the bottom, indicating to me that it was broken before it was even sent. Considering the current pandemic and the fact that my vehicle is not working at the moment, it would be unnecessarily risky and extremely inconvenient for me to have to go somewhere to return a broken item which I am guessing will be thrown away. Upon contacting customer service to explain this, I was told that in order to receive a replacement and not be charged for it I would indeed have to return the damaged one. While it is not completely outside of my ability to do so, I don’t really believe that I should have to go through the trouble and take the time out of my day because of someone else’s failure to pay attention. Mistakes happen, no big deal. That being said, a simple replacement seems like a reasonable request to me, given the circumstances.

Great stone-esque planter for my peace lillies, it just doesn’t have a drainage hole so you will need to drill holes at the bottom and place it on a tray if your plant needs drainage!

This pot appears to be real stone but it is not which made it perfect! I was so surprised to find how light but sturdy it was. Transplanted a Christmas cactus and am now able to move ithe plant wherever I want. Will order another one when needed for other houseplants.
