This was just what I needed to add to a cabinet. After soaking for 45 minutes this was flexible enough to staple in place. Once it dried, it was a snug fit.

I wanted to restore an antique nursing rocker that belonged to my husbandβs grandmother, passed down to us when i was pregnant. When the original caning was worn it was replaced with a board by someone with upholstery textile stretched over it that also became worn. I learned how to replace the cane seat and here it is.

I bought this because itβs 24 wide but sadly it was not. Very disappointed. Also itβs very poor quality. I donβt recommend at all.

The cane came broken, the wave is not consistent and had different colored strands. I was hoping to use this as a trial for repairing a cesca chair, but the quality of the product is not encouraging enough to use it in a seat.
