Use it for sewing thread spools. Sections are a bit snug for large old wooden spools of thread, but they still fit. It serves the purpose well. Easy to see the thread colors without opening the box, which is great if, like me, you have inherited a couple hundred spools from a few grandmas and aunts who were quilters.

This is the perfect size storage box for your treasured collectibles, 1/64 or smaller scale. When available, JoAnn Fabrics sells them for $13, but here was the lowest price outside of that.

It holds a good number of spools of thread, but I found the case difficult to open. I not sure how long it will last before the plastic cracks.

I have way too many thread spools - my rack is full- I needed a big storage case for the ones I don’t use as much - this case did the trick. I recommend this product fir the quality & quality it holds.
