I ordered these to use in the bottom of my large vases to hold my homegrown hydrangea upright. I am glad I did. They work well. They have suction cups on the bottom to hold them down but I chose to glue them down with e-6000 instead. Yes, they are permanently in the vase, but for the price that works for me. I like that they are clear too. So it isn't distracting in my clear glass vases. The spikes are sharp enough, close enough together and long enough to hold the bulky hydrangea stems securley.I recommend them. The price is good and they work well. I will probably be order more as I need them. Good Luck!I
