Used these bottles to de-canter a 30 year old homemade sweet mead (honey wine) into to filter out the sediment. Perfectly sized to hold the contents of a standard size wine bottle. The cap plugs fit very snuggly and appear to provide a fairly leak-proof seal, even during shipping through USPS. They are very solidly made of good thick glass.The bottles come with gold shrink-wrap seal sleeves to be placed over the cap plugs which are very simple to apply, and firmly keep the already tightly seal plug in place. Highly recommend these bottles!

Purchased two bottle distillate in and potentially even in grave. They will serve the purpose well. They’re heavy glass, and is the base the very plain looking bottom, while empty, is not particularly attractive, when labeled and used in engraving application, they will serve their purpose well. They come with a well fitting cork and seal, so they will make good gifts.

These were packed well. There is a similar product that had several reviews concerning broken bottles and crushed foil seals, but there were very secure and arrived without any visual damage. The caps were a very tight fit and do not leak, and the seals shrank up beautifully in seconds with my heat gun. I washed them upside-down in the dishwasher before use. Excellent product.
