I have a Jura container and I wanted a second one for a different milk choice. This is a good choice that can see a few bucks. The container is well made and feels about the same as the Jura branded one. It comes with a hose together with the hard plastic attachments for the hose to attach to the machine. All in all, a good alternative and it saves a few dollars if that is the priority over keeping everything Jura branded.

Full disclosure: I don't have a Jura!I have a Miele Milk Perfection CM6160 that I absolutely adore, and that makes coffee superior to any place I've yet found in in my years of hunting for good coffee. It can take mediocre beans, water and milk and turn them into the most delightful cappuccino, with only a couple of button presses. It is my favorite thing, and yes, I probably drink more coffee than I need to but it is soo very good. The CM6160 does not come with a milk bottle. It comes with the insert, tubing, valve and the steel siphon. You're to use your own carton or bottle of milk to get your latte on. Okay, that's fine. BUT. After using it for a couple of months, the rinse function started backwashing rinse water into my milk bottle. If I forgot to immediately disconnect the bottle after making a coffee, it would put rinse water into my milk and spoil an entire container. Not. Acceptable. Miele charges $97 for a bottle only with insert. They charge $35 for the valve that's defective on mine. They charge $101.25 for new pipework. I could have fixed the problem for $35, but was going to buy the entire pipework at $101.25 to have the other parts as backup since they cost less when purchased together. And since I was already at it, I was going to buy the bottle too. This made for Jura bottle has 100% solved my problem.Miele CM6 machines are designed to have dual tubes that go from your milk to the machine. The one on top is where the milk is sucked up from, and the one on the bottom is for rinsing. When liquid goes out of the bottom tube, it's supposed to get caught in Miele's backwash-proof system and stop your milk from getting fouled, making a complete circuit and getting pushed back out through the top tube - but that's where mine is failing. This made-for-Jura replacement bottle has a single tube that goes from the bottle to the machine, and that tube fits PERFECTLY into the top slot of the Miele CM6 that siphons up the milk. When the rinse cycle begins, the system can't spit water out without a tube being installed, so it doesn't actually rinse the tubing. This is AWESOME. Since the tubing isn't rinsed, there's no risk of water getting into my milk. The glass does feel thin and lightweight. I worry that it's going to smash easily, especially since I have a house full of heathens. The stainless lid does close tightly, though there is a hole in the center of the lid that does not close. Please note that if you fill your bottle on Monday and use it til it runs out on Thursday, it might end up tasting like fridge unless you figure out a way to plug the small hole in the center. To me, that's a very small price to pay for an excellent workaround to Miele charging too much for replacement parts. Super happy. I'll update if it stops working, loses its seal or if I ever experience an issue with it.Update: 9.1.2024So this still works with my Miele. It's easy to clean and the milk froths how I want it. But there is a tiny silicone piece inside of where the hose attaches that falls down a little bit, and eliminates the vacuum seal. If that happens, it won't dispense milk, or will make low quality froth because of excess air getting in. I find that if I gently pull up on the hose while milk is being dispensed it eliminates the problem - but it should not happen in the first place. If I put the Miele tubing onto the bottle, it works fine, but then I'm back to the double-tube nightmare I've been dealing with. It solves my problem, but I am disappointed with how quickly it needed help to keep it operating.
